Gang robs house at knife point

A
seven-member
gang
of
unidentified
persons
struck
at
the
house
of
a
businessman
and
decamped
with
Rs
30
lakh
and
250
sovereigns
of
gold
at
Kerugumbakkam
near
here
early
this
morning.
Police said the gang held houseowner Srinavasa Reddiar (58), his wife and son at knife point before looting the house.
A special team had been formed to nab the culprits, the police added.
