Srinagar, Dec 16 (UNI) At least two soldiers were killed and six others, including five Nepali porters, wounded in a landslide, which also damaged a temple, a bridge and an Army bunker in Leh district of Jammu and Kashmir today, police said.
Police said the landslide hit the Army check post at Thang Bridge, about 10 km away from Turtuk in Leh district.
While two soldiers died on the spot, another sustained injuries, police said, adding five Nepali porters were also wounded in the incident. All the injured were rushed to an Army hospital.
Police said a temple, a bridge, an Army bunker, a civil garage and a Toyota Qualis vehicle were totally damaged in the incident.
