Sunday coldest day of season in Delhi: mercury plumbs to 4.4
New Delhi, Dec 16 (UNI) The mercury today nosedived to as low as 4.4 degree Celsius as against yesterday's 7.4 degrees, making Sunday the coldest day of the season in the capital so far.
The weatherman offered no respite from the cold conditions, forcasting the minimum temperature may plumb to 3 degree Celsius tomorrow.
Despite the temperature going through the floor, Delhiites today witnessed a clear weather and bright sunlight for a second day running with the maximum temperature recorded as 20.5 degrees Celsius during the day.
The capital has been witnessing shallow fogs for the past several days, resulting in flight delays and traffic gridlocks.
The weatherman forecasts a mainly clear sky with a little mist early tomorrow.
