Sonia Gandhi on two-day Rae Bareli visit from Dec 18

Lucknow, Dec 16 (UNI) AICC president Sonia Gandhi would be on a two-day visit to her Parliamentary constituency Rae Bareli from December 18.

''Ms Gandhi is visiting Rae Bareli for proper communication with the public and to meet the party workers,'' Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee (UPCC) chief spokeperson Akhilesh Pratap Singh said here today.

Besides, she would participate in various programmes associated with the development work, he added.

Amethi Parliamentary constituency in charge K L Sharma and Rae Bareli Parliamentary constituency in charge Manoj Mattu would also accompany the Congress chief, he added.

After reaching Rae Bareli, Ms Gandhi would meet people and address a gathering in Bhojpur.

She would stay at Unchahar NTPC guest house, where she would also meet party workers on the second day of her visit.

In the evening, she would attend a meet in Bachat Bhavan and later leave for New Delhi.

UNI
