Shimla, Dec 16 (UNI) Six days after two youth went missing in Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh, police recovered their bodies from under a layer of snow near Charabra in Shimla district of the state.
The police said one of the mobiles went silent after receiving a SMS on Friday evening following which the police asked a telecom company to locate its location failing in their search operations in the upper areas of the district.
The mobile company located the mobile one km before Charabra, about 23 km from here, in a gorge where the police recovered the bodies from under a layer of snow and the mangled vehicle.
The two had went missing on Monday afternoon while returning home from Khada Pathar area after failing to reach Rohru following inclement weather.
The police said their bodies were handed over to their relatives after post mortem examination, adding that a case has been registered and investigations are on.
