Bikaner, Dec 16 (UNI) Bharatiya Jan Shakti Party chief Uma Bharti today said her party will play the role of a kingmaker in Rajasthan after the upcoming state assembly elections.
Talking to newspersons, the firebrand Sadhvi said, ''Our party will play a decisive role in deciding the next governemnt in Rajasthan.'' ''Whoever comes to power in Rajasthan, the Bharatiya Jan Skhati party would play a crucial role in the formation of the next state government,'' she added.
Unleashing vitriol against Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, Ms Bharti accused Ms Raje of heading a governemnt neck-deep in corruption and failing to control crime. She also accused the Raje government of letting down the people of the state.
While accusing the Raje government of mishandling the Gujjar agitation, Ms Bharti said if the Gujjar-Meena conflict came to a head she would stage a sit-in and go on fast-unto-death in the desert state.
While holding the Congress responsible for the 2002 riots in Gujarat, Ms Bharti said she would support any party which reposes faith in Lord Rama, takes care of the poor and emphasises on good goverance.
