2 dead, 3 injured in road accident in WB

Krishnagar, Dec 16At least two people were killed and three others seriously injured in a road accident at Shimurali under Chakdah police station in Nadia district today.

The accident occurred on National Highway-34 when a private car going from Bachudahari to Kolkata, collided head on with a lorry, which was on its way from Kolkata to Behrampore, police said.

The injured persons were rushed to the Kalyani Jawaharlal Nehru Hospital where their condition was stated to be critical, police added.
