Two more persons died of cold wave in Saurashtra-Kutch region
Rajkot, Dec 15 (UNI) Two more persons died of cold wave in Saurashtra and Kutch region, taking the toll to three in the past 48 hours.
A 35-year-old man died early today of cold wave in Jetpur, while a begger of Kutch district died of hypothermia yesterday.
However, various parts of the state are in the grip of chilling cold as Nalia in Abdasa Taluka of Kutch district recorded minimum temprature of 4.4 degrees Celsius which affected the normal life, while Rajkot recorded 8.8, Amreli 10.1, Bhuj 11.8 and Junagadh 16.8 degrees Celsius. Chilly winds blowing at a velocity of 15 km per hour worsened the conditions.
