Three soldiers injured, vehicle damaged in IED blast in Kashmir

Baramulla, Dec 15 (UNI) At least three soldiers were wounded and their vehicle damaged in a powerful Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blast at Sopore in north Kashmir this afternoon.

Official sources said militants triggered a powerful IED, targeting bullet proof bunker vehicle of 22 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) near fruit mandi Sopore.

The bunker vehicle was damaged and three soldiers identified as Shyam Singh, Rajan Singh and Harjinder Singh were wounded, they said adding the area was immediately cordoned off and a massive hunt has been launched to nab the militants responsible for causing the blast.

The injured were hospitalised.
