Bangalore, Dec 15 (UNI) The three sons of 'Dadasaheb Palke' award winner late Raj Kumar's will be coming together to act in a Kannada film 'Omm' produced by Pyramid Saimira International Limited, a division of Pyramid Saimira Group, India's first multi-national Entertainment Company.
Announcing this at a press conference here today, Company Managing Director P S Saminathan said he was fulfilling his commitment made at the inauguration of the Group last year. The film, featuring Raghavendra Raj Kumar, Punit Raj Kumar and Shiva Raj Kumar would be directed by Ravi Srivatsava.
He said the PSIL, which has a presence in five countries, had more than 44 multiplexes with 703 screens across India, Malaysia, Singapore and North America.
He said by 2010, the group proposes to operate 175 multiplexes with 2,000 screens in India alone. The Pyramid Saimira ranks as the world's third largest cinema operator based on the number of seats and admissions with nearly 4,35,000 seats as on October 2007. The group currently produces 13 films and around two hrs of TV programming per day.
Mr Saminathan said the group proposes to produce 37 films by investing Rs 7,000 crore.
