Hooda hails Yajna as a ''scientific process''

Karnal, Dec 15 (UNI) The concept of Yajna is very ancient in Vedic culture which not only empowers our spiritual sentiments but also purifies the environment also. In the modern age scientists have also admitted that the Yajna is a complete scientific process.

These views were expressed by the Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Bhupinder Singh Hooda while speaking as the Chief Guest in ''100 Kundiyas Virat Ayutchandi Mahayagya'' being performed at the historic and spiritual land of Karnal from December 12 to 20 for world peace and prosperity by as many as 500 pandits from all over the country.

He said that the Yajna not only creates a healthy atmosphere but also infuses spirit of love, universal brotherhood, unity and communal harmony in the society.

Commending the role of Maharishi Dayanand in preaching the Arya Samaj for bringing reformation in the society by following the system of Yajna and Yoga, he said that Swami Dayanand devoted whole of his life to preach the principles of Arya Samaj for awakening the human beings morally as well as spiritually.

While giving all credit to the blessings of the great saints and scholars like Mahamandleshwar Swami Shri Prakhar Ji Maharaj, the Chief Minister said that the fast progress of Haryana had been possible only with whole-hearted cooperation of every citizen of the State.

''Our State is making fast development in every field of human endeavour with active participation of every section of the society with a sense of team-spirit'', he added.

The Rajya Sabha MP, Dr Ram Prakash said that the system of yajna is completely a scientific process which helps in strengthening the human beings morally as well as physically.
