Ganguly hopes to continue flowing in Australia

By Staff

Kolkata, Dec 15 (UNI) Sourav Ganguly hoped to continue shinning with his willow when Indian team emborks on their journey Down Under this December.

Interacting with the media today, while launching an yearbook, he said, '' I hope to continue with my good form. '' Asked about his 100th Test appearance in Melbourne, he said, '' It is a special feeling for every cricketer. I am no exception. But it wont be at the back of my mind when I go out there. I hope to put the runs on the board as that is what matters. '' Ganguly, who was the first Indian captain to have started playing mind games against Steve Waugh's Australian side, said, '' Sledging won't be a problem for us. We are a professional side and know how to handle it. '' While accepting that Australia were the best ODI side, he said, '' They are the best side in One day internationals. So it is of no use predicting things. We have to go out there and play. '' About his current purple patch, Ganguly said, '' It feels good to be among runs. Hope the form continues. '' India begin their series in Australia on December 20 with a warm up match against Victoria. India play three Tests against Australia and a tri-series also featuring Sri Lanka.
