Jaipur, Dec 14 (UNI) The ruling BJP state President Mahesh Sharma today said his party foresaw no no threat from Bahujan Samaj Party in Rajasthan as the latter did not have much relevance in the state politics.
Talking to newspersons here, Mr Sharma said the political scenario in Rajasthan continued to be bipolar between the ruling BJP and the Congress and any third party, including BSP, did not have much pertinence.
He said the contest in the next assembly elections in Rajasthan is again going to be a straight affair between BJP and Congress.
BJP, charged with ''good performance'' of the Vasundhara Raje Government, is all set to retain power in the state in the coming Assembly election, he added.
Mr Sharma also hailed the party leadership's move to project Leader of the Opposition L K Advani as BJP's prime ministerial candidate in the next Lok Sabha polls and said the move had conveyed a good message among the party ranks and files.
Mr Sharma also praised ''clean and transparent administration'' evolved by Modi Government in Gujarat and said Mr Modi was set to bring the BJP back in power in the ensuing assembly elections.
