Water levels in Kerala reservoirs decrease
Thiruvananthapuram, Dec 13 (UNI) Water levels in major reservoirs of Kerala have decreased, according to the figures released by the Central Water Commission.
At Idukki, the water level decreased from 2391.04 ft to 2388.58 ft, at Idamalayar from 540.03 ft to 536.06 ft and at Kallada from 376.41 ft to 375.43 ft.
When compared to the water levels recorded during the same period last year, Kallada and Idamalayar reservoirs showed a decrease of 1.54 ft and 10.86 ft respectively. However, in Idukki, the water level showed an increase of 3.54 ft, it said.
