Tirupati, Dec 13 (UNI) Enlightening people about the lapses of the Congress Government in Andhra Pradesh, Opposition TDP has launched the Praja Chaitanya Yathra (PCY) in the temple town today.
At least 200 activists took part in PCY, which was led by State and district party leaders. They took out a rally from NTR circle to Gandhi statue and raised slogans against Congress Government.
Earlier at NTR circle, addressing the press, Amaranada Reddy said the yathra would be taken up in all five assembly constituences and would continue upto December 27.
He alleged that Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhar Reddy failed to fulfill the election promises, including implementation of people's welfare schemes.
Correction was rampant at all levels, he said, adding that Government had implemented anti-people policies.
