Sex Scandal rears its ugly head at Guj BJP meet

Anand, Dec 13: Unidentified persons distributed incriminatory photographs of Gujarat Congress president Bharatsinh Solanki at the election meetings of the BJP here.

At a public meeting addressed by BJP national president Rajnath Singh at Valsad town hereon Dec 12, some unidentified persons distributed copies of the photographs showing Mr Solanki allegedly involved in a ''sex-scandal''. Mr Solanki, while denying his involvement in any scandal, has strongly condemned the distribution of the photos, saying this was being done to defame him in his constituency. The photograph shows the Congress leader in the company of an unidentified 22-year-old girl.

Mr Solanki, while demanding a CBI probe into the matter, has said a conspiracy has been hatched to tarnish his political image. He has accused chief minister Narendra Modi for the same.

Claiming that he was totally innocent, Mr Solanki said the CD, from which the photographs were printed, had doctored images and he was ready to face any inquiry.
