Chandigarh, Dec 13 (UNI) Spice Telecom, Punjab's premier telecom service provider has introduced Spice TV, to provide subscribers the opportunity to watch LIVE Cricket on their mobiles for the first time in India.
The Spice TV launch event saw cricketers Brian Lara and Inzamam-ul-Haq amongst a host of other international stars unveil Spice TV for the people of Punjab.
Subscribers can now choose from a bouquet of 13 channels with varying genres ranging from NDTV and Times Now in the news genre to Zoom and Bindaas in the entertainment genre to Cartoon Network.
Sharing details of the Spice TV service, Mr Mukul Khanna, Vice President Marketing, Spice Telecom said, ''Our subscribers can now watch live cricket on their phones. And what better an opportunity to launch this service than with ICL matches on in the tri-city wherein Spice Telecom is the Official Telecom partner." Talking on the occasion, Mr Himanshu Mody, Business Head, ICL said, "This is an exclusive tie-up where Zee Sports has partnered with Spice Telecom to present Live ICL matches for this season. We appreciate the company's endeavor to promote the global cricketing community in the region. This initiative has brought all the cricket fans in the region together on a single platform." Service can be experienced free for one month, one billing cycle for all subscriptions before January 11, 2008.
