Work on AGNI-IV begins, Agni-III test in 2 months
New Delhi, Dec 12 (UNI) Work on Agni-IV, a ballistic missile with a range of 6,000 km, has begun, and its test is expected to take place within two years.
Defence sources today said the test of Agni-IV could possibly take place in 2010.
They said one more test of 3000 km range Agni-III missile would be held within two months.
At a press conference here, DRDO Chief Controller V K Saraswat said the design of Agni-IV was being prepared, but he refused to speculate when its first test would take place.
On Agni-III, he said a few more tests needed to be done for the reliability of the missile.
