Ranchi, Dec 12 (UNI) Jharkhand Speaker Alamgir Alam has convened a meeting of all legislators tomorrow for a consensus for smooth functioning of the proceedings of the four-day session beginning December 14.

Mr Alam also said he was planning to hold a seminar by mid- February next year that would be mainly aimed at educating the legislators about the conduct expected from them in the House.

About tomorrow's meeting, the speaker said he was personally talking to all legislators so that they were present to offer suggestions to avoid any confrontation during debate.

He said with the session getting reduced, the members should try to make most of the alloted time for the benefit of the people.

The Speaker's initiative to hold the meeting assumed significance as the BJP had already opined that a no-confidence motion against the UPA-backed Madhu Koda governement should be moved during the session.

Meanwhile, JD(U)'s Radhakrishna Kishore today said he was also mooting a no-confidence motion against the government but was yet to consult his party colleagues and other NDA partners.

Mr Kishore said the Oppostion was not planning a no-confidence just for the sake of their role, but more importantly ,that the Congress, a major ally of the UPA governement, was publicly critical of the present misgovernance and mess in financial matters.

The JD(U) leader said through his move, it was also to see where the Opposition stood at present.

In the last session, the Speaker had to adjourn the House sine-die midway as the Opposition was not allowing any proceedings demanding reply from the Chief Minister regarding a scam concerning his close-aid.
