Tirupati, Dec 12 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Assembly Speaker Suresh Reddy today stressed that all Legislators should maintain dignity of the Assembly Sessions and use it for solving peoples' issues.
Addressing the media, before starting to Tirumala for darshan of Lord Venkateswara, Mr Reddy said in order to run the Assembly in a dignified manner awareness and training sessions should be given to MLAs, MLCs and Ministers. To provide aid during natural calamities and to extend Govt's support an assembly committee fund should be created, he added.
He said all the MLAs and MLCs should stay at least one night in the SC and ST hostels to realise the problems faced by the students.
Later, along with his family members, he reached the temple town.
After tonight's halt at Tirumala, he would participate in the morning sevas in the temple and offer prayer to Lord Balaji tomorrow.
