ICICI Prudential Life garners over Rs 100 cr in rural areas

Mumbai, Dec 12 (UNI) ICICI Prudential Life today announced that it had garnered over Rs 100 crore across the country in a span of nine months since the launch of its services in rural areas, thus emerging a leading private life insurer there.

Addressing the mediapersons here, ICICI Prudential executive director Bhargav Dasgupta said in tune with its philosphy of 'customer first', the company had designed its rural strategy to cater to the unique requirements of rural customers.

He further said the rural custmer-centric approach was essential to build the trust quotient among them, and it had enabled the company to become the leading private life insurer in rural segment.

During the last few months, the company had developed a robust multi-channel distribution network and created a strong service infrastructure to ensure customers were provided service experience at par with that in urban areas of the country, Mr Dasgupta explained.

In the last few months, the company had also built a strong network of micro-offices and dedicated advisors, and lauched a series of unique service initiatives to ensure complete customer convenience, he added.
