22 drivers eyeing to set up their cars in unknown Zhuhai circuit

New Delhi, Dec 12 (UNI) As the A1GP World Cup of Motorsport kicks off in the untested Zhuhai International Circuit in China, all the 22 participating nations would be hoping to set up their cars in the first test race on Friday.

Such unknown is the territory that not even home nation A1 Team China's lead driver Frankie Cheng has much knowledge of the track, which is situated on the south coast of the country.

Last time, Cheng drove at this circuit was five years ago in a Chinese Formula Renault race, but the number one Chinese driver said the though Xhuhai is a smooth circuit with no blind corners, the A1GP car would be a completely different challenge.

Meanwhile, Team Switzerland will be itching to get underway after its thrilling double victory in Malaysia and Neel Jani's success helping them leapfrog to the top of the championship.
