Viva Kerala to take on Salgaocar on Dec 15

Kozhikode, Dec 11: Viva Kerala will lock horns with Salgaocar, Goa in its first home match in the ONGC-Indian (Professional) Football league beginning at the Corporation stadium here on December 15.

The other top soccer teams scheduled to play against the Kerala side in the event on different dates till March 30, 2008 were Mohun Bagan, East Bengal, Mahindra and Mahindra, Air India, JCT Phagwara, Churchill Brothers, Dempo and Sporting Goa, Kozhikode District Football Association Honorary Secretary A M Najeeb told reporters here today.

A 400-member organising committee has been formed to oversee the smooth conduct of the event, he added.
