killed
and
many
passengers
severely
injured
as
fourteen
bogies
of
the
New
Delhi
bound
Brahmaputra
Mail
train
derailed
near
India's
eastern
Nijbari
railway
station
near
Siliguri
late
on
Sunday
night,
the
9th
December.
The
injured
were
taken
to
the
nearby
Siliguri's
North
Bengal
Medical
College
and
Hospital.
The
authorities
had
employed
4
North
Bengal
State
Transport
Corporation
buses
for
ferrying
the
stranded
passengers.
