U-19 Rugby team files to Brunei for Asian Trophy

Kolkata, Dec 11 (UNI) A 24-member strong Indian U-19 boy's team will fly out of the city to take part in the South East Asian Zonal Rugby Championship tomorrow.

The tournament to be held in Brunei for the Asian Trophy will alos feature Brunei, Chinese Taipei and Arabian Gulf. While Ajmin Shahi Janitorkordy will captain India, Sailen Tudu will be the vice-captain.

The side is being trained by famous Fijian coach Usaia Roknai Binmaiwai.

The 15-a-side tournament victory could catapult India into the higher group with Hongkong, Singapore and Malaysia to compete in the World Rugby Championship. India is currently ranked 70.
