New Delhi, Dec 11 (UNI) The chilly weather being experienced by Delhiites over the past week today abated further with the mercury shooting up to 12.1 degrees Celsius, three degrees above normal.
Clouds hovering over the Delhi skyline for the second day today led to a sharp rise in minimum temperature in the city to 12.1 degrees from 8.8 degrees.
Visibility levels also showed a marked improvement with the minimum visibility rising from 400m to 1000m today.
The coming days could witness further respite from chill with weathermen forecasting a rise in minimum temperature to 13 degrees C tomorrow.
The Met office has forecast a partly cloudy sky in Delhi during the next 24 hours with the possibility of rain or thundershowers in some areas.
