Mukesh Ambani meets UAE PM

Dubai, Dec 11: Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani met Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

Shaikh Mohammad and Mr Ambani discussed the future of investments in the region, especially in the UAE, according to the official news agency WAM.

Mr Ambani, who heads India's largest private sector enterprise with businesses in the energy and materials value chain, praised Dubai's success and the vision of Shaikh Mohammad.

Sheikh Mohammed reviewed with Mr Ambani the future of investments in the region as the UAE has become a destination of choice for the world's leading companies, businessmen and investors.

Ambani lauded the overwhelming progress witnessed in the UAE and the great facilities offered to businessmen and investors.

''Dubai's success story reflects the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Nahyan who transformed Dubai into an international financial and business hub. It is no secret that Reliance Group is inspired by Dubai's experiment in its endeavours to build a national cluster for oil industries in India,'' he said.

The meetings were attended by Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Civil Aviation department and President of the Emirates Airlines and senior officials.
