Chennai, Dec 11: Country Club India Ltd (CCIL), a major player in the concept of family clubbing in India, has set the stage for Asia's biggest New Year bash this year.
The club has signed up eight leading Bollywood artistes and singers to perform in the club's New Year party scheduled for December 31 across India, Mr C V S Ravi Prasad, Senior Vice President (Marketing), said talking to newspersons here.
The eight artists would perform simultaneously at eight different cities--Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Cochin, Pune and Ahmedabad-- making CCIL's New Year bash the biggest party in Asia, he claimed.
CCIL had signed up Kollywood Artiste Sadha, Singer Usha Uthup and an array of Bollywood personalities, including Neha Dhupia, Malaika Arora and Amrita Arora, 'Golmaal' Girl Rimi Sen, Mahima Choudhury and Udita Goswami, he said.
Sadha would perform in the city on New Year eve at the YMCA grounds. The Raack Academy of dance will present a rocking dance floor for the members of the club in the city.
Adding rhythm to the bash would be singers Magathi and Ganga.
The club had also roped in Vijay TV's 'Kalaka Poovathu Yaaru' artistes for a short performance.
The year 2007 has been quite eventful for CCIL, for it entered the 18th year if its inception.
