Pantaloons Femina Miss India 2008 auditions held in Nashik

Nashik, Dec 10 (UNI) The Pantaloons Femina Miss India (PFMI) 2008 Auditions Squad today shortlisted Deval Pandya from here to participate in the regionals that will be held in Delhi and Mumbai in February 2008.

Deval is originally from Ahmedabad, Gujarat and is a manager in Team Lease, a company here.

An Arts Graduate, Deval said she was confident about her success.

''Women should be ambitious but they should also fix their priorities as a mother and a wife and perform their duties in these roles also,'' Deval said.

This is the first time that Femina Miss India, the country's most glamorous pageant, has stepped into Nashik.

Besides Nashik, the Audition Squad will visit Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Goa, Guwahati, Indore, Jaipur, Kolkata, Pune and Agra.

The pageant will also make its foray into the Southern Hemisphere of India with the launch of its exclusive South India based pageant for the first time ever, Pantaloon Femina Miss India South (PFMIS) 2008.
