'Opportunities for Indian investors in Switzerland'

Mumbai, Dec 10 (UNI) Switzerland, famed tourist destination and favourite shooting destination for Bollywood, offers plenty of opportunities for the Indian investors, particularly in the Information Technology sector.

Talking to newspersons on the sidelines of the ''Go Global Via Switzerland'' conference here, Ambassador to India Dominique Dreyer said the global competitiveness report 2007-08 ranks Switzerland as the most competitive country in Europe.

Ms Beatrice Maser Mallor, head, State Secretariat for Economic Affairs, said India is ahead in IT sector and ''we are expecting much investment in this sector''.

She pointed out that many Swiss companies like Nestle and others have a presence in the huge Indian market, while some Indian companies too have entered the Swiss market.
