Maytas partners Vedanta Alumina for residential township in Orissa
New Delhi, Dec 10 (UNI) Maytas Infra Ltd today said it has signed a memorandum of understanding with Vedanta Alumina Ltd to set up a Rs 232.69 crore integrated township for its staff in Orissa.
The project has a total built up area of 14 lakh square feet which will be competed in 18 months.
Commenting on the association with VAL, company CEO P K Madhav said, ''we are very pleased with our association with Vedanta Alumina Ltd and we at Maytas will build the township with the finest standards of construction using our fine finish techniques.'' The proposed township will include infrastructure facilities like roads, sewage, water treatment plant, transit accommodation and bungalows for top management of VAL, two and three bedroom houses, and studio flats, guest house, hostel, open air theatre, dispensary, market complex, school, ancillary building etc spread over a build up area of 14 lakh sq ft.
