New Delhi, Dec 10 (UNI) Ace rifle shooter Gagan Narang won a silver in men's 50m rifle prone event in the Asian Shooting Championships in Kuwait today.
Gagan shot a score of 595 and was tied with a Chinese shooter.
However in the finals, Gagan shot a score of 100.7 and had to settle with silver while Zhando Jia of China shot 105.0 in the finals to win the gold ahead of Gagan.
Duk Bing of Korea got the bronze with a score of 694.7 (591+103.7).
Indian team of Gagan Narang (595), Sanjeev Rajput (589) and Surendra Singh Rathore (584) shot a total combined score of 1768 to win another silver in the 50m rifle prone team event.
The gold was won by China with a score of 1770 while the bronze went to Japan with a score of 1766, according to information received here.
