Jammu, Dec 10 (UNI) Senior Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)leader Muzaffar Hussain Baig was today sworn in as Deputy Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir for a second time.
Delivering his speech after the swearing in ceremony, Mr Baig said the coming year would be a year of developing relations and bridging gaps between coalition partners.
'' Better planning policies for the state will remain on my agenda in the coming year of the coalition government following the Assembly polls,'' he said, aiming to act as a bridge between the Congress-PDP coalition partners in the state government.
'' Minister of Finance Tariq Hameed Qarra is handling the Finance Ministry in a better way and he would be looking after planning and coalition, '' he said.
Under the planning policy of the state, an employment policy would be framed in the next year he informed adding, ''I am hopeful that some of the pending commitments will also be fulfilled in one year.'' Mr Baig has been included in the Ministry and will be given an independent portfolio after the Haveli-Poonch constituency by-elections.
