Infosys lifts ''Josh: Corporate Sports Fest 07''

Pune, Dec 9 (UNI) Infosys team overthrew current holders AXA and won the ''Josh: Corporate Sports Fest 07'' trophy and a prize of Rs 25,000, here today.

Over 1200 employees drawn from 90 top corporates in the city participated in this multi-sport inter corporate indoor and outdoor event hosted by Goel Ganga Developments and Mahanagar Constructions and organised by Concern India Foundation.

While Infosys lifted the trophy, AXA had to be content with a second position and Rs 15,000 prize money and Income Tax finished third winning Rs 10,000 and a trophy.

''Our endeavour was a win-win situation for Hari Ganga and Concern India, whereby we are able to showcase a complete package of recreation and lifestyle,'' explained Goel Ganga Developments Director Subash Goel, the man behind this event.

The prizes were given away by Malavika Gaur, Pune head of Concern India Foundation, Mr Subash Goel, Director of Goel Ganga Developments and Mr Raju Thakwani and Chetan Patel, Directors of Mahanagar Constructions.

Following are the final results: Overall winner: 1. Infosys- 69 points, 2. AXA 65, 3. Income Tax 35; Swimming: 50 meter Breast Stroke: Men: Gourav Hundale (MWHi); Vikram Dhillon (Infosys); Yogesh Choudhari (Infosys); 50 meter Freestyle: Sptershi Mitr (Infosys); Ninad Patil (AXA); Gourav Hundale (MWHi); 50 meter Butterfly: Sptershi Mitr (Infosys); Kedar Choudhari (I-flexes); Ninad Patil (AXA); Tug of War- Bread Story bt AXA 2-0; 3.
