Bhopal, Dec 9 (UNI) A three-day conference of the International Ergonomics Association (IEA) will be organised in the state capital from tomorrow with the objective of improving conditions at workplace.
Central Institute of Agricultural Engineering (CIAE) Director Madan Mohan Pandey told a press conference here that more than 200 representatives from the country would take part in the conference.
These would include agricultural engineers, security-related experts, defence experts and doctors.
He said egronomics aimed at enhancing skills so that productivity could be improved without compromising health of employees.
Of the 43 crore labourers, 24 crore were in the agricultural sector. The conference was relevant because the Indian Agricultural Reseat Council was active in ergonomics.
