Tirupati, Dec 9 (UNI) A two-day 'All India Students Conference on Science and Spiritual Quest (AISSQ-2007),' jointly organised by Kolkata-based Bhaktivedanta Institute and TTD will be held here from December 22, TTD Chairman B Karunakara Reddy said today.
Talking to newspersons here, he said Sri Sri Ravishankar would inaugurate the conference.
Eminent personalities, including Nobel laureates from India, America, England and other countries would deliver lectures at the conference, he said.
Nobel laureate Prof Roger Komberg from Stanford University, USA, would deliver the keynote lecture on 'The Knowable Nature of Scientific Truth'. The seminar was aimed to create an awareness of synthesis of science and spirituality in the society, Mr Reddy added.
Nearly 1,500 students, from prestigious universities and institutions in India and abroad, including IIT, National Institute of Technology, NITS Indian Institute of Sciences (IISC), All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Indian Institute of Management(AIIMS), Baba Institute of Atomic Research Centre(BARC), Indian Space Research Organisation(ISRO), Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), Oxford University and Standord University, would take part in the conference.
