MP: Bhopal's budding scribes win awards

Bhopal, Dec 9: Three students of the city-based Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism received Youth Science Communicator awards today at the Seventh National Science Communication Congress in Delhi.

''Since 2000, the Congress has been an annual event under the aegis of the Union Science and Technology Ministry's National Council for Science and Technology,'' said the varsity's Head of the Department (Journalism) Pushpendra Pal Singh.

The awards were received by Master of Journalism students Yamini Shrivastav, Shruti Mishra and Rakesh Singh. Students from Lucknow, Jaipur, Kanpur's Chhatrapati Sahuji University and Indore's Devi Ahilya University also read out their papers.
