Shatabdi Express loco pilot injured in stone pelting
Bangalore, Dec 8 (UNI) A loco pilot of Mysore-Chennai Shatabdi Express was injured when a group of irate passengers pelted stones at the train at Hejjala railway station in Bangalore rural district today.
The passengers were protesting against the delay of trains, running between Bangalore and Mysore.
Police said several commuters were also injured in the stone pelting.
Following the incident, several trains from the city were held up.
The trains, between Bangalore and Mysore, were delayed due to the track testing works on at the station.
The irate passengers also pelted stones at railway staff, police added.
