Madarsa and Sanskrit teachers threatens to go on dharna

Patna, Dec 8 (UNI) Madarsa and Sanskrit Teachers United Front in Bihar today threatened to go on dharna on December 11 here in favour of their seven-point charter of demands.

Front spokesperson Ramashray Choudhary said they would continue their strike till the end of the Assembly's winter session, that began yesterday.

''Madarsa and Sanskrit teachers had lot of expectation from the the Nitish Kumar government but even after the completion of two years terms the government failed to redress our grievances,'' Mr Chaudhary stated.

He further demanded that Madarsa and Sanskrit schools should be approved under Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan and the cases lodged against the teachers in 2005 should be withdrawn.
