India win toss, elect to bat first

Bangalore, Dec 8 (UNI) India won the toss and decided to bat first in the crucial third and final Test against Pakistan at M Chinnaswamy stadium here today.

India, who are leading the series 1-0, made four changes from the 11 that played at the Kolkata Test, bringing in Gautam Gambhir, Yuvraj Singh, Irfan Pathan and Ishant Sharma in place of injured quartet of MS Dhoni, Sachin Tendulkar, Zaheer Khan and Munaf Patel.

Pakistan made one change with Yasit Arafat coming in for left arm pacer Sohail Tanvir.

The teams: India: Anil Kumble (capt), Wasim Jaffer, Gautam Gambhir, Rahul Dravid, Sourav Ganguly, VVS Lxman, Yuvraj Singh, Harbhajan Singh, Irfan Pathan, Ishant Sharma, Dinesh Karthik. 12th Man: Murali Kartik.

Pakistan: Younis Khan (capt), Salman Butt, Yasir Hameed, Mohammed Yousuf, Misbah-ul-Haq, Kamran Akmal (wk), Faisal Iqbal, Mohammad Sami, Shoaib Akhtar, Danish Kaneria, Yasir Arafat. 12th man: Abdur Rehman.

Umpires: Simon Taufel and Rudi Koertzen.

Third Umpire: G A Pratap Kumar.

Fourth Umpire: Suhas Phadkar UNI
