Jaipur, Dec 7 (UNI) AICC General Secretary and former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot today termed the Vasundhara Raje Government as ''incapable, insensitive and corrupt'' which could neither provide good governance to people nor contain and dissidence within the ruling BJP and its own ministry.
Talking to UNI over telephone, Mr Gehlot said law and order deteriorated during this government's four year regime with atrocities and crimes against women, dalits and weaker sections rising, police resorting to firing and/or lathi charge and other crude methods to deal with democratic agitations organised by farmers, teachers, students or social outfits.
Mr Gehlot said the government could not address burning issues of the common man and curbed all agitations showing utter insensitive attitude.
Even the ruling party MLAs, ministers and party functionaries did behave like unhappy and annoyed lots and Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje had ''wasted'' of the four year- long term in persuading these lots and the party leadership, he said.
This had obviously had its fall out on the performance of the government as all of the vital people's issues remained unresolved.
Mr Gehlot alleged that the corruption in public life was also on rise and the government failed to curb the menace.
