Rajnath Singh to visit Mysore on Dec 13

Hubli, Dec 7 (UNI) BJP President Rajnath Singh will visit Karnataka on December 13 to take part in a party function in Mysore, where a large number of leaders from the Janata Dal(S) would join the saffron party former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa said today.

Speaking this at a public meeting here Mr Yeddyurappa said a large number of JD(S) workers and top leaders have expressed their desire to join the BJP 'without any conditions'.

He said former prominent JD(S) leader and minister G T Deve Gowda, leaders belonging to Mysore and Chamarajanagar districts, former BJP MP Vijay Sankeshwar from Hubli, who had left the party for a brief while, and former Union Minister Babagouda Patil would be inducted into the party on that day.

He said the party would concentrate on highlighting developmental issues during its campaign for the mid-term polls, expected to be held in the state early next year.

Meanwhile, Mr Yeddyurappa said he was ready to face any inquiry on the 'bicycle scam' as alleged by JD(S) leader H D Revanna. ''It is the Gowda family that was involved in the scam and not anyone from the BJP. We are ready to face any inquiry,'' he added.
