Nalagarh, Dec 7 (UNI) Congress leader Sachin Pilot today said Gujarat Chief Minister Narender Modi was raking up the issues of Sohrabuddin fake encounter and Ram Temple to divert peoples' attention from the real issues where he had failed miserably.
Addressing a public meeting here in Solan district in support of the Congress candidates, Mr Pilot said the chief minister was returning to its ''politics of hatred'' by instigating voters on the emotive issues since he had nothing else to show.
He said Mr Modi's recent outburst in a public meeting at Godhra on the Sohrabuddin issue had unmasked the BJP whose real face was now before the public.
''The BJP usually rakes up these emotive issues, including the construction of a Ram Temple at Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh, during the elections to garner a few extra votes,'' he said.
Mr Pilot said while the BJP was for dividing people on caste, regional and religion lines to get political basis, the Congress was a secular party, which believed in the emotional integration of the state.
