Meghalaya Civil Defence and Home Guards awarded certificates

Shillong, Dec 7 (UNI) The National Disaster Response Force and Civil Defence department of the Union Home Affairs Ministry has conferred the Discipline and Commendation certificates on the Meghalaya Home Guards and Civil Defence personnel for their sincerity, loyalty and devotion.

The awards were bestowed on District Home Guard Commandant, Tura, M K Sangma, Deputy Controller of Civil Defence and Home Guards, Shillong, R P Khongwar, Senior Medical Officer Dr D E K Marbaniang, Central Training Institute of Civil Defence and Home Guards, Shillong, T Nongkhlaw, Superintendent, Directorate of Civil Defence and Home Guards, Shillong, P T Sangma, Naib Subedar Border Wing Home Guard Battalion, Shillong, P H Khongsngi, Naib Subedar, Meghalaya Secretriat Guard and B Warjri, Naib Subedar Central Training Institute of Civil Defence, Home Guards, Shillong, at a function held here yesterday.
