Dhar, MP, Dec 7 (UNI) A cluster of 25 villages have been selected in Madhya Pradesh's Dhar district under a special action plan 'Project Shaktimaan' for removing malnutrition.
Special efforts are being made to reduce malnutrition in these villages under the supervision of district collector Umakant Umrao.
District Programme Officer Vishal Nadkarani said a special training programme -- regarding providing care to seriously malnutritioned children and pregnant women -- was organised with the help of UNICEF for 93 anganwadi workers from these selected villages.
Besides, these anganwadi workers would provide counseling services and spread awareness regarding cleanliness and better health.
Children were being provided nutritious food at anganwadi centres three times in a day.
