Youth Congress to organise satyagraha against Nandigram killings

New Delhi, Dec 6 (UNI) The Indian Youth Congress (IYC) will organise a "satyagraha" in Kolkata on December 10 to highlight the human rights violations in Nandigram.

The agitation will be organised jointly by the Human Rights Department of the IYC and the West Bengal Pradesh Youth Congress Committee.

A photo exhibition titled "Nandigram-The Killing Fields" will also be held as part of the agitation, Human Rights Department Chairman Sajeev Joseph said here today.

IYC President Ashok Tanwar will participate in the satyagraha from 0900 hrs to 1700 hrs.

Youth Congressmen, victims from Nandigram, freedom fighters and human rights activists will attend the satyagraha.
