Weather plays spoil sport during net practice
Bangalore, Dec 6 (UNI) Weather played spoilsport during the net practice of both Team and Pakistan team at the M Chinnaswamy stadium here today, ahead of the test and final test beginning on Saturday, Indian players took to the ground first and after a brief warm commenced their practice session under the watchful eyes of bowling coach Venkatesh Prasad. V V S Lakshman chose to hit the ball at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) with some local boys bowling plastic balls.
Sachin Tendulkar was not at the nets as he was taking rest.
Sourav Ganguly, who was suffering from fever, was expected to arrive tonight to join the team.
The Pakistan team, which arrived for net practice 30 minutes after Indian Team too had to call off practice due to bad light and showers.
The players also had batting and bowling practice.
