New Delhi, Dec 6 (UNI) Europe's largest car maker Volkswagen will mark its maiden entry at the ninth Auto Expo to be held early next year with a display of its latest range of product line.
''The showcase will include Volkswagen's Passat, which is already rolling on the India roads. Along with the Passat, Volkswagen will also showcase its luxury SUV Touareg and Jetta,'' a company statement said today.
The show will also be the platform for Volkswagen's announcement of its upcoming models for the Indian market, it added.
The Volkswagen Group had earlier this year set up its new subsidiary, Volkswagen Group Sales India Private Ltd to run the operations in India.
The company has established its dealer network in Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore and will gradually expand to other Indian cities.
''Volkswagen intends to set up more than 10 Volkswagen dealerships across the country by the end of 2008,'' the statement said.
