UP assembly adjourned sine die
Lucknow, Dec 6 (UNI) The Uttar Pradesh assembly was today adjourned sine die after a three-day brief session, which passed six bills.
However, the Assembly, which was called to pass the controversial UPCOCA bill, could not do so as it was referred to the select committee of the legislative council for the second time.
The House was convened on December 4 after it was adjourned indefintely on November 7.
Chief Minister Mayawati made her brief presence on the opening day but leader of the opposition Mulayam Singh Yadav was absent during the entire session.
