New Delhi, Dec 6 (UNI) The Delhi Police have arrested three persons who used to lure innocent people with false promises of sending them abroad by arranging passports, visa and other documents.
The three persons - Rakesh Singh, Nirmal Singh and Chiranjeet Singh - were arrested from near the Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Hospital in Rohini last evening when they had come to deliver some bogus passports. They were found in possession of two bogus passports, the police said.
Interrogation of the three revealed that their modus operandi was to grab huge amount of money from innocent people by showing them false dreams of sending them abroad for lucrative jobs. They have no concern on whether the said person reaches his destination or not.
The victims did not know that these three were sending them to foreign countries on fake passports, visas and other documents.
Nirmal and Chiranjeet belong to Punjab whereas Rakesh is a resident of Vikaspuri in Delhi.
